- To my professors:
I apologize that my blog is, in short, a somewhat overwhelming information-dump. I’ve taken what measures I can to keep it easy-to-navigate, primarily for your sake.
- To my student peers:
I apologize that my blog is, in short, long. I like writing. Skim it if you have to, but please leave any comments you might have.
- To all readers:
Thanks for checking out my blog. I encourage you to read as much (or as little) as you like, and to leave comments as you see fit. I’m pretty difficult to offend. The purpose of this blog is to both share my experiences in an interesting way, and to encourage thoughts and criticisms from my readers.
- Categories and tags:
Each post is both categorized and tagged.
The categories are simply the course number (such as ED 310, or ED 331-16).
The tags for each post are both the title of the course they are relevant to (for example, Content Area Literacy or Organizing and Managing Classroom Environments), and the type of assignment:
- Daily: Daily posts. Originally for ED 331: Methods and Strategies of Secondary Teaching (English), these fulfill expectations for all classes and are for anybody to read and comment on.
- Content Area Literacy: Posts specifically made for ED 321: Content Area Literacy.
- Methods and Strategies of Secondary Teaching: Posts specifically made for ED 331: Methods and Strategies of Secondary Teaching.
- Methods and Strategies of Secondary Teaching (English): Posts specifically made for ED 331: Methods and Strategies of Secondary Teaching (English).
- Organizing and Managing Classroom Environments: Posts specifically made for ED 310: Organizing and Managing Classroom Environments.
- Greatest Hits: Posts specifically made for ED 310: Organizing and Managing Classroom Environments, including excerpts from daily posts and relevant commentary on the event, and any disciplinary actions taken.

- Weekly Reflection: Posts specifically made for ED 331: Methods and Strategies of Secondary Teaching (English), partially summarizing the events of each week with some personal commentaries.
- Writing Assignment: Any other writing assignment for any Grand Valley State University College of Education course.
I may be adding additional tags later as I see fit, but those listed above will always stay the same.
